ILYA AT THE MEMORIAL

Ilya wanted me to let you know that on October 29th at Julliard in NYC a beautiful memorial was held for Christopher Reeve. Ilya was so glad that he was able to attend the tribute for this great man and good friend.
There were many touching speeches from Chris's family and friends, including Robin Williams, Meryl Streep, and Glenn Close. Surprisingly, Ilya was the only member of the cast and crew of Superman who attended
the tribute. The memorial was even more emotional for Ilya since David Newman and Marlon Brando have both recently passed away.

SUPERMAN II - THE DONNER CUT - LATEST

I've been hearing positive vibes; there's a momentum building....I think Ilya Salkind holds the aces and I know that he's very supportive of the Donner material being reinserted back into the film. That's definately a very good sign; the only possible stumbling block is that both parties have to hammer out a deal which is beneficial to both. Those talks are vital.
