>>SATURDAY 12th NOVEMBER NORMAN ENFIELD - MYSTERY SOLVED? Additional script material by Norman Enfield in the STM end credit - who was he? What material did he write? I don't know what he wrote but some thought it was a pseudonym for Lester, well...the mystery has been solved. Norman is NOT a pseudonym. The Ilya website has posted a still of Norman in conversation with Dick Donner at the premiere in Washington:
>>THURSDAY 10th NOVEMBER DVD INTERVIEWS... A few folks from the films have already been interviewed; Sarah Douglas has done her interview. I don't know how these interviews will be presented on the DVD. KING KONG BOOK Ray Morton is the author of the upcoming King Kong book which details the history of the character in the movies. Ray is a good friend of mine and it's my pleasure to be able to promote his work here. There is a Superman connection: Peter Murton was the production designer on King Kong Lives and Peter Macdonald was the cinematographer for a brief tenure on the same film - I'm sure there are some others involved in both productions. Details of the book can be found here Available at Amazon.
>>WEDNESDAY 2nd NOVEMBER DONNER'S SUPERMAN II - DON'T GET TOO EXCITED... The UK Guardian newspaper has printed a short piece covering what we already know - well I say we already know... I'm not sure if Donner is going to be involved in the re-cutting of Superman 2. Could the Dreamwatch article have been patched together using information on this site and just spun the words around to give a false impression? I have no evidence to suggest that Donner is planning to cut 1 and 2 together. Since it's his footage, there's no doubt in mind that he'd want to be involved to make sure that his work is preserved in a form yet to be determined. Don't get too excited, until the studio announces their intentions, this project is still indefinate! Check it out the Guardian piece here. I don't know when the studio will announce the project but I don't expect any word for a while probably for good reason. Oh, before I forget, I have no idea what they'll do with Superman IV; fingers crossed that they can produce the 134 min rough cut of the film but I'm not holding my breath.
