INTRODUCTION

In August 2005, I was a delegated member from the Film Center Serbia at the Sarajevo film festival, one the most important film related events in Southeast Europe and former Yugoslavia area, recognized by many producers, directors, critics and journalist from around the globe. At that moment I was the head of international cooperation in Film Center Serbia, but my main occupation before and after is a television author and program editor.

Festival guests that year were Daniel Craig (007 to be), Alexander Payne (Oscar winner for Sideways), Abel Ferara ... but there was one name that lured my attention most.
Pierre Spengler.

I will now turn the clock back. You can assume why.

First glimpse of film which I saw in my life, and genially liked and remembered was ''Superman''. I was a six years old kid. After that, I started to show interest in movies and television... Many years later I graduated from film academy.

So there was opportunity for me to see the man who produced the films I grew up with. Don t get me wrong, I met and interviewed many stars (Jeremy Irons, Emir Kusturica, Christopher Walken...) but this was something special.

He was a guest at our party and after that we arranged for a short interview. Of course one subject was in scope more than others.
