BLOOPERS When Jor-El lays the green crystal in the starship, you can see his rolex watch. Krypton exploded in 1948, why does Jor-El tell his son, now eighteen
at the Fortress of Solitude "by that reckoning, I would have been
dead for many thousands of your years." If Superman was born just
before Krypton explodes, takes three years for him to arrive on Earth
(1951). When he turns 18 (in 1966) he discovers the secrets of the green
crystal. Jor-El should have said our years. When Kal-El was put into the space shuttle, we later know it was "supposedly" thousands of years ago. If so, then how was his father telling him of Einstein. First of all, how does he know the history of a planet millions of miles away. SECOND of all, if it really WAS thousands of years ago, how did he know of Einstein. Can he see into the future as well? Same with the "Trees" poem we hear in Superman II, I don't think that was written "thousands of years ago". When Superman catches the cat burgler.. why doesn't his cape fall back when standing on the side of the building facing up? and why doesn't if fall down when he turns around? - Note What if he flies upside down ? It wouldn't look right, not really a blooper.
During the scene where the two detectives are trailing after Otis in Grand Central Station. Notice the tall black guy. He's walking along with both Otis and the two men at the same time (and they're supposed to be quite a distance apart). In the expanded TV version in particular, this continuity error is far more apparent. He keeps popping up in every scene. When Clark jumps out of the window to change into Superman, everything but his pants change. - Incomplete f/x shot. When Lex Luthor is holding the kryptonite at Superman, the man in blue backs into a table, knocking a picture over - The next shot is of Lex and then back to Superman...miraculously, the picture is sitting right up again. Why was Superman still chasing the rocket when Metropolis isn't far from New Jersey, he should have got there in time or even be waiting for it. The explanation lies in the unofficial expanded edition of Superman: Superman forgot about the second rocket after turning back time. Actually the whole reserving time is illogical. Probably 2 Supermen, the first Superman throws the first rocket into space. Now when the 2nd or the real Superman turns back time, he turns it back enough to get the second rocket and throw into space, but that doesn't make sense since Lois complains that the Earthquake nearly killed her. So, Superman probably diverted the crack which swallowed Lois and the car.
